Marike, Immo and Emma
Marike has recently moved to the stunning countryside of Stellenbosch. Best of all she has moved to a wonderful community centred around an old farmhouse, renovated for sustainable living. If you are interested in English and conservation, then Marike should be your first point of call. Also there is the possibility of helping on the Community Farm as well as in the Nursery should you wish. Her students often return to her and the results made over a short period of time are amazing.
Carey Ann is a Brit but has been in South Africa for twenty years. She now considers it her home. She has a background in both teaching and training as well as Media and organises modern lessons where the student can participate and see real progress. She encourages her students to do an On Line Blog and fill it with their daily activities and lots of photographs. Its also a great way for the folks back home to see what is happening. If you also enjoy photography then you won’t be disappointed as many Cape animals live in the area so don’t be surprised to come across a Baboon or a Penguin as both have made this stunning area their home.
